Industrial Warehouse Eateries

The Restaurant Radio Royaal is Ruggedly Retro

The Restaurant Radio Royaal might have originally been created as a temporary eatery during Dutch Design Week back in 2011, but it has since turned into a permanent fixture in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. Turning an old industrial warehouse into a hot food destination, the Restaurant Radio Royaal offers great meals in a unique setting.

Designed by Niels Wouter, Bart Gardenier and Stella Birsakhanno, the Restaurant Radio Royaal is not only surrounded by exposed metal beams, cathedral ceilings and other industrial elements, it has been outfitted with vintage 1950s school lunch tables and retro leather seats to solidify the dated look of the space. Edgy and rough, the restaurant is definitely meant to be frequented by hipster youth.

The Restaurant Radio Royaal us open for both lunch and dinner with a seasonal menu.
