Ocean Outdoor and Vin + OMI Created Fashion from Billboard Displays

UK-based boutique media company Ocean Outdoor collaborated with eco label VIN + OMI and will be releasing a unique collection during London Fashion Week featuring repurposed media. All of the clothing for men and women in the collection has been created from the vinyl panels taken from Ocean Outdoor's billboard displays, showcasing how widely accessible materials can be turned into wearable pieces.

Ocean Outdoor is moving away from the use of vinyl yet this initiative shows how it can make the most of the material that is still in circulation. In terms of design, VIN + OMI worked with students from the Oxford Brookes University to creatively repurpose the old advertising canvases.

Following the events at London Fashion Week, Ocean Outdoor will be donating the pieces to its charity partner, the Marine Conservation Society.
