Modern Reflective Glass Decor

Verreum Creates Reflective Objects Using a Silvering Technique

'Verreum' is a Czech glass manufacturing company based in Prague that uses a silvering technique that has led to a series of reflective objects that work to complement your home with a modern minimalist look.

As designboom explains, silvering is a type of chemical process that covers glass with reflective substances. The collection includes a variance of different pieces, some of which are functional and others of which are for decorative purposes only. For its series, Verreum collaborateed with designers including Luca Nichetto, Arik Levy, Alain Gilles and Sebastian Herkner.

In a collaboration with Luca Nichetto, the 'Waterfall' collection uses nature as inspiration to recreate stones, making for whimsical pieces with different shapes and sizes. The same collaboration led to the 'Vitroidi' collection as well, which shows simplistic reflective objects that can function as centerpieces or flower vases. Photo Credits: designboom, verreum
