Dove is Planning to Reduce Plastic Waste with a New Strategy

Beaut brand Dove has unveiled a new plan to reduce plastic waste through 2025 in an effort to become a more environmentally sustainable brand and appeal to the needs of eco-minded consumers.

The new inactive will see the brand utilize 100% recycled plastic across all of its product ranges by the end of 2019, while also working to use alternative packaging materials and invest in refill technology. This is sure to be appreciated by consumers who are becoming more aware of the rising amount of plastic waste being created every year.

The Dove initiative to reduce plastic waste will see over 20,500 tonnes of virgin plastic not being used on a global level to help make the material less prevalent.
