Red Carpet Runway Couture

Atelier Versace Spring 2009 features Ruffles & Legs

After making a splash on the Oscar 2009 red carpet with nominee Marisa Tomei wearing a couture gown from their Fall 2008-09 collection, Versace unveiled their Spring 2009 Haute Couture collection, Atelier Versace.

While labels like Chanel, Dior and Armani recently showcased their couture collections on the runways, Versace opted for private appointments with the special customers in January for their Atelier Versace line. Now the public can sneak a peek into these luxurious gowns in a quasi-lookbook with model Georgina Stojiljkovic.

The new Atelier Versace creations look to be ready for the next big event carpet. Interestingly, the Atelier Versace collection features quite a few minidresses in addition to the more mainstream floor-length and ruffled gowns. So maybe we’ll be seeing more legs on the next red carpet.
