Hotel Costa Verde in Costa Rica has designed this unique and totally impressive two bedroom suite made from a refurbished 1965 Boeing 727 fuselage.
Guests will feel like they are sleeping over the clouds when they settle down to bed in the shell of this aircraft, which once flew for South African Air and Avianca Airlines.
The airframe was salvaged from the San Jose, Costa Rica airport in pieces, which were then individually transported and reassembled on-site upon a 50-foot pedestal.
The plane’s interior was created from Costa Rican teak paneling from the cockpit to the tail, and the furnishings are hand-carved, teak furniture from Indonesia.
