Plant-based cleaning product brand Method has announced new recovered coastal plastic packaging through a partnership with Plastic Bank to give the solutions an even more eco-friendly profile. The partnership between parent company SC Johnson and Plastic Bank will continue their ongoing commitment, which has seen the equivalent of three-billion plastic bottles transformed into consumer product packaging. The 100% recycled recovered plastic bottles are being launched in the US and Canada where shoppers will find them with Method's gel hand wash, foaming hand wash, all-purpose cleaner, foaming tub + tile cleaner and laundry detergent.
Founder and CEO of Plastic Bank David Katz commented further on the new Method recovered coastal plastic packaging saying, "Our partnership with SC Johnson is more than just a collaboration; it's a rallying call to businesses worldwide to step up to end poverty and stop plastic pollution. We believe that collective, incremental efforts ignite sweeping transformations. No matter how big the global waste footprint is, every step we take together for the good of our people and the planet counts. It's time for businesses to realize that authentic environmental and social impact can catalyze growth by genuinely winning the hearts of their customers."
