Razors Releases Its Most Robust Scooter Yet, the 'EcoSmart Cargo'

Leading American scooter brand Razor has announced the launch of the EcoSmart Cargo, a hybrid electric scooter model that doubles as a small cargo bike.

In many ways, the new vehicle is similar to the company's EcoSmart Metro. However, it features a more robust back rack that has been designed to hold substantial cargo loads -- or a whole other passenger. In terms of power, the EcoSmart Cargo features a 1000W motor that is coupled with a 46.8V battery. Together, this set-up is capable of taking riders up to speeds of 19.9 miles per hour.

Other notable features of the EcoSmart Cargo include rear-wheel disc brakes, a built-in LED taillight and headlight, and extra-large 16-inch pneumatic tires, which allow for extra smooth riding.
