Rasmus Skousen is a Danish fashion photographer who pairs the gift of unusual shooting locations with an ability to capture authentic and understated sexuality in his photoshoots.
For his latest photoshoot, Rasmus Skousen teamed up with fellow Dane, Josephine Skriver, for an editorial for Cover Magazine's July 2011 issue that takes place in an empty swimming pool. Skriver is the stunning 17-year-old Marilyn agency representative most recently celebrated for her appearances with some of the fashion world's biggest brands (Gucci, Prada, Givenchy, Dolce & Gabbana, Yves Saint Laurent, Valentino) during Milan's fashion week.
In this shoot, Rasmus Skousen does an excellent job of highlighting Skriver's recognizable lips and pout in several different shots, despite not directly featuring her face in many of them. By capturing Skriver's defining features while she deftly plays the role of a young woman carelessly soaking the summer sun. Rasmus Skousen and Josephine Skriver make a fantastic Danish duo, and it would not surprise me to see these two link up again for another editorial sometime soon.
The Cover Magazine July 2011 issue is on newsstands now.
