Clinic Craft Aims to Raise Money for Save the Children on Minecraft

This year, in an effort to raise money for Save the Children, gamers Dan Maher and Chris Doney are teaming up to raise awareness and money. The duo's project has been dubbed 'Clinic Craft' and it involves building a virtual clinic and protecting it online with the aid of Minecrafters around the world.

Maher and Doney have also created a template so that other Minecrafters can put together their own Liberian clinic and share pictures of it online. The campaign also encourages users to donate directly to Save the Children’s Build it for Babies initiative, which aims to increase the amount of healthcare available to women and children in Liberia by building them an actual clinic. Although this is an unorthodox way to go about raising money, the Minecraft community is a huge one that will definitely step up and contribute to the build for good.
