Nike has added yet another colorway to its retro high-top sneaker with the release of the 'Racer Blue Air Jordan 5.' Nike has previously used its Racer Blue colorway on the Air Max 98 in 2018, though the Air Jordan 5 showcases this color palette quite differently.
Firstly, this sneaker is nearly covered in black suede from the upper to the heel. The namesake color, Racer Blue, appears on the midsole, the tongue, the insole, and the heel, with a Racer Blue Jumpman logo appearing on the tongue and heel. The sneaker also accents the eye stay and a portion of the upper as well as the tongue with 'Iron Grey,' giving this sneaker a futuristic, racing-style look. Secondly, this sneaker has a thick, high-top frame as it uses the Air Jordan 5's silhouette, making it a much bolder sneaker than the Air Max 98.
The Racer Blue Air Jordan 5 will be available on February 22nd from Nike's online store, as well as select retailers, for $200 USD.
