Rabanne Taps Multiple Famous Perfumers to Design its New Fragrances

Rabanne is releasing a fine fragrance collection consisting of eight unique scents. The collection includes intriguing highlights such as Rose 1969, a smell that combines black pepper's spiciness with patchouli's earthy richness. Another highlight is Midnight Sex, an exotic blend that marries the creamy sweetness of coconut with the delicate, floral essence of orange blossom.

Rabanne recruited multiple iconic perfumers to create its new fragrance line. Notable names include Fanny Bal and Fabrice Pellegrin, who have worked with famous perfumers like Penhaligon, Frederic Malle, and L'Artisan Parfumeur.

"When you buy a niche fragrance, you want something unique in terms of the bottle design," said Leloup. "The niche customer is very much about status."

The eight-piece La Collection Rabanne will arrive on July 18.
