The Rolls Royce will make redressing its product line in transatlantic pure carbon fiber possible for owners.
American Vitesse AuDessus has created a Rolls-Royce Carbon Fiber program that will make the Phantom, Phantom Coupe, Phantom Drophead Coupe, Wraith, Dawn and Ghost out of carbon fiber. The Rolls-Royce pure carbon fiber features a compressed carbon fiber matrix. The original parts of the cars that will be replaced by the pure carbon fiber will be placed in storage.
As part of the Rolls-Royce Carbon Fiber program, forged carbon fiber wheels will be available, which are an industry first. The wheels are now possible because of fast-curing resins that allow for sets to be produced in minutes rather than days. Carbon fiber wheels are supposed to be the best performance choice tired as they have a lower unsprung weight.Photo Credits: designboom, carscoops
