In honor of National Puppy Day on March 23rd, Devils Backbone Brewery in DC hosted a cleverly named 'pup-up bar.' "Featuring actual pup-tenders, dog treat bar, dog caricaturist, adoptable rescue dogs, and DB dog swag," the canine-friendly event gave dog owners the perfect way to spoil their pooches.
Devils Backbone Brewery's pup-up bar was hosted at Midlands DC Beer Garden, which has a heated outdoor patio that is very dog-friendly. For those who attended, the brewery sent around five dog waiter—dubbed 'pup-tenders'—with beer-carrying vests to deliver each person's order. Guests were welcome to bring their dogs and there were even some adoptable pups there for those who came pooch-less.
Best of all a portion of all the proceeds from the Devils Backbone sales were donated to City Dogs Rescue.
