With tourism at an all-time high, Wendy's Japan has released a new Pretzel Roast Beef Burger aimed at catering to foreign tourists.
The new Western-style burger is described as "a high-quality burger made with carefully selected ingredients" and comes with a price tag to match (about $13.50 USD). The premium price point is because the burger is piled high with tender roast beef, a beef patty, lettuce, wasabi, and a savory kelp ponzu jelly. The whole thing is then served on a toasted pretzel bun.
While the new Pretzel Roast Beef Burge is aimed more at tourists, it is only available in a select few locations. In fact, just 15 Wendy's branches across Japan will be serving up the new dish.
