Donatella Versace’s Pre-Fall 2009 outrageously gorgeous collection featured pieces that were accented with a star theme, contrasting piping and fur, according to Women’s Wear Daily. The graphic, bold silhouettes in the collection gave punch to what would otherwise be relatively demure designs.
Versace chose red, green and purple for some of the Pre-Fall 2009 line but also featured outfits comprised solely of black and white. Silks and crepes mixed with wool for a luxurious texture and contrast.
