Porsche is planninng to launch its new hybrid racing car, the GT3 R--also dubbed as the "racing laboratory"--in 2010. Unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show, the Porsche 911 GT3 R Hybrid features an electric front axle drive with two electric motors and an electrical flywheel power generator inside the cockpit which can generate speeds of up to 40,000 RPM.
The Porsche 911 GT3 R Hybrid is also a fuel efficient car with low emissions. The GT3 R will soon undergo a 24-hour long-distance race at the Nürburgring in Germany.
