This Pop Up Food and Drink Venue in Sydney Uses Cardboard Tubes for Design

Developed as a temporary pop up food and drink venue, this space is located in Sydney, Australia to help fill a vacant retail section. Designed by the Foolscap Studio, the spaces were created in collaboration with Lendlease to offer vendors a space to offer laid-back fare.

Including vendors like Edition Coffee Roasters, Gin&It, Riva Reno Gelato, Belle’s Hot Chicken and Mamak, the pop up food and drink space is most revered for its design aesthetic. The temporary space is outfitted with cardboard tubes that offer a beautiful ambience and help to use materials that can be easily recycled. This enables the notion of pop-up shops and other kinds of temporary retail to be more eco-friendly rather than have to use raw materials that will simply go off to a landfill after use.
