These Pokemon LEGO figures are created by Stormbringer, who has created his own version of Pokemon and designed characters to go along with it.
Entitled ‘PokeMecha,’ the Stormbringer series reinvents the popular anime characters as robots who are piloted by trainers and engage in epic Pokemon battles. The designs are modeled after Venasaur, Blastoise and Charizard, the fully evolved form of the original three starter Pokemon from the beginning of the series. PokeMecha took three months to create with the Venasaur consuming the most amount of time—over a month to make. Not only do these Pokemon mechs successfully combine two separate genres that seem like complete opposites but they also prove that there is nothing you can’t build with LEGO.
Stormbringer has definitely succeeded in making me wish his Pokemon LEGO Mechs were around when I was younger.
