SCH+ARC Studio has found a way to educate people on a city's history with an interactive playscape pop-up book. The design allows people to walk around a place, and work on putting pieces of the book together to create their own pop-up adventure.
Each page of the books features sections for putting a historic house together. Everything is also waterproof, which makes the pop-up book that much more durable. Also, since there are multiple connector pieces in the book, the buildings will become three dimensional, allowing for users to get a fuller experience as to what these places looked like.
The book is currently only based on places in Philadelphia, but hopefully the firm will expand this to other places in the United States and perhaps the world. Photo Credits: designboom, scharcstudio
