Stockholder uses bright colors and wacky shapes in her installations. One section is even dedicated to bright red bubbles that looks like a psychedelic room from the sixties. The installation was commissioned by Madison Square Park Conservancy and is a hit amongst both parents and youngsters. Jessica Stockholder says that she is surprised by how much the children are drawn to the work and never thought people would be willing to sit on the various pieces.
