Antonio Dominguez was tasked with developing packaging for Newrest, a European in-flight catering company. These particular packages are made to appeal to the Scandinavian air market, which is quite evident in their simplicity. Although the cardboard sandwich, wrap and puff pastry packs are quite minimal, there's a fun element to the design, which is that the yellow cloud on each design can be popped out to give a peek at the meal inside.
As well as being able to see the food product inside, the design is crisp and clean, with an easily-to-read ingredient list. The design is also practical in terms of its material use, which is both ecological and a really playful and to show off the product's freshness before hungry travelers dig in.
