She goes beyond the phrase, "facing your fear," by allowing these women to become what they presumably loathe.
In her series titled 'Insectes,' Seroussi transforms women into one of the most misunderstood and feared creatures out there: bugs. This photoshoot is incredibly artistic using the female frame to turn what people normally consider ‘gross’ into something beautiful.
The women are shown with all the details of their respective bugs: four legs, wings and antennas. It’s actually enough to make you both cringe at the photo, get over its intricate bug detail, and realize how beautiful the women-bug creatures are.
