AR Photo Frame Apps

HP's AR Experience Lets Users Place Virtual Photo Frames

In collaboration with Oath's Ryot Studio and media agency PHD, HP launched an augmented reality experience that involves a photo frame app.

While there are plenty of photo apps that allow users to add digital frames to the pictures that they capture on their mobile devices, HP took this idea a step further by allowing people to put virtual photo frames within their home. The app gives users the chance to select a photo of their liking, along with a fun frame that matches their preferred style. From there, users can opt to print out the photo, as the AR campaign supports HP Instant Ink’s Free Printing Plan and HP Envy Photo printer.

The augmented reality experience combines both the nostalgia of tangible photographs with the convenience of mobile ones, providing a way for people to experience both in the best way.
