Opulent Luxury Condos

The PH1 Duplex Penthouse Comes with a Personal Car Elevator

Netherlands-based architecture practice MVRDV performed a lavish redesign of 'PH1', a 334 square meter penthouse in an upscale building in the West Chelsea district of New York. This high-end duplex living space -- situated on the 12th and 13th floors of the tower -- comprises three bedrooms and 62 square meters of exterior recreational space. It also comes with a 'sky vault,' a unique space that consists of a stairwell surrounded by a gallery and safe.

The highlight of PH1 is a personal elevator that has enough room for a car. This allows residents to literally drive into their own personal elevator and have it take them up to their apartment.

The apartment offers spectacular views of the Hudson River.
