This fruit bowl by designer Petra Pavelkova looks more like a bizarre-looking sculpture than a fruit bowl. Made of a type of wood called Bendywood, this odd platter sports an eccentric shape, which adds a modern touch to the kitchens.
As the name suggests, Bendywood is a flexible timber that can be easily bent to design more dynamic shapes. For the creation of the bowl, Pavelkova manually bent each piece of wood and assembled them together to resemble a large bird nest. The designer created several bowls, all different from each other.
Because of its material and unique form, the fruit platter by Petra Pavelkova decorates spaces while giving them an organic and artistic touch.
