Paper design by Peter Dahmen takes pop-up cards to the next level. From far-reaching architectural sculptures to pretty scenic villes, these paper constructions fold up by themselves right before your own eyes.
Dahmen says these cards can take up to more than a week to create. Some of the 3D cards even include details within itself. For instance, in one of his designs, you can spot a prehistoric figure inside of a museum. Pop-up cards fall under the category of concealable products. All of its contents can be closed flat, but comes as a surprise when opened. Elaborately unfolding into all sorts of designs, paper pop-up art is both visually appealing and fascinating.
The German artist is known for making sturdy sculptures out of paper. He was even assigned to create a giant life-sized pop-up card for a press conference for BMW's MINI.
