Petbit is a pet tracker that can be attached to a pet’s collar and used in tandem with the Petbit app, to monitor a pet’s daily levels of activity, sleep and set goals for keeping a pet healthy.
The app has a system of ‘Pet Points,’ which show how close a pet is to reaching a daily goal specified by their owner. Healthy pets are encouraged even more with its badges, which award pets who are the best in their particular breed, or for being the most active in a worldwide ranking. The app also takes temperature and daylight levels into consideration, helping owners to understand some of the external factors that influence a pet’s behavior.
The Petbit app is coming soon to Apple and Android devices and the attachable tracker itself can be pre-ordered online for shipping in March 2014.
