The design for the Perth Stadium has been decided on, thanks to a few different architects who came together for the project. The stadium will fit 60,000 people, and have a bronze material wrapped around its outside.
The choice for the bronze material came from a desire to have something similar to the Australian countryside in the area. Because the country becomes so hot and dry most of the year, bronze seemed to be the most appropriate color to reflect this. The stadium will house a number of different sporting events, allowing for a variety of people to enjoy what the structure has to offer. Even better, it's well connected by public transport making it easy to come and go. Photo Credits: designboom, perthstadium.au
