This example of Penique Productions art is focused on creating an inflatable interior structure. The international artist collective spends its time collaborating on large-scale projects where they create temporary structures, thus giving the spaces a whole new look and feel. This latest work from the group was installed at Museum of Image and Sound at Sao Paulo and makes the rooms look like they are being engulfed by giant pink blobs.
To create the quirky installation, the Penique Productions art collective used huge pink plastic sheets and attached them to walls, floors and ceilings. The artists then turned industrial strength fans on and lets the sheets billow outward as if they were exploding out of the rooms. The project is beautiful to look at and also creates a unique ambiance in each room.
