Historically-Influenced Perfumes

Penhaligon's Trade Routes Collection Revisits British History

The three-piece unisex Trade Routes Collection by Penhaligon takes inspiration from British history, transporting modern men and women back to the times where travel by ship was the most efficient way to get around the world.

The three Penhaligon scents include Lothair, Empressa & Levanthium, each of which plays off some of the rich items that were once traded. The light and feminine Empressa scent has floral and patchouli notes, making it reminiscent of fine silky fabrics. In contrast, Levanthium is a more masculine scent that reminds of rum and spices. To go along with the launch of these three fragrances, Penhaligon is offering a unique experience with the Mandarin Oriental in Singapore, where guests are offered a unique hotel package that encourages them to "discover the scent of Penhaligon."
