John Pawson Designs the Pawson Furniture Collection

British designer John Pawson created the Pawson Furniture collection which is full of bespoke wooden designs for Danish manufacturer partner Dinesen. All of the pieces are based on the span of a timber board which marks a special milestone that is 30 years of working together. The two are inspired by their original furniture designs that were first formed in 1992.

John Pawson speaks to Dezeen about the capsule, stating "This collection is all about the timber. Everything is stripped back to the logic and poetry of the wood. It made sense for the dimensions of the timber to determine the proportions of the forms. The outcome is pieces that have an inherent quality of clarity, rhythm and repetition."
