Linguine-Inspired Furnishings

BicubeDesign Studio Debuts its Carb-Filled Pasta Design Collection

Nothing is more tempting and teasing than fake food that looks as good as this Pasta design collection by Francesco Barbi and Guido Bottazzo of BicubeDesign studio.

Drawing eyes and drools from designers and interior decorators, the collection of pasta-shaped furniture was recently displayed at the SaloneSatellite 2013 exhibition. A fork-styled lamp hangs in the center with long linguine draped over it while plush macaroni seats with tomato and basil cushions line up along the side. One of the central pieces of the collection is the Tortellino chair that beckons people to relax in its warm, stuffed plushness.

Definitely a furniture line for gourmands and decorators with a sense of humor, the Pasta design collection is temptingly delicious and savory.
