Artist/designer Pascal Anson looked back to his childhood days to find inspiration for this project. Remembering the days when he used to lean back in his chair in class to find the perfect balance point, he decided to make this a bit easier on all of us.
Taking an ordinary chair, Anson balances the chair on either two legs or one with ease. Using three very precise cuts in the legs, he was able to do this. His reasons for completing the project as well as its meaning make it all the more worthwhile.
