Favorite Movie: Fight Club
Favorite Book: Ender's Game
Favorite Food: Steak (Filet obviously)
Two things: 1) I was born on Leap Day (February 29th) so I'm either 22 or 5.5 years old. 2) I'm adopted.
What's your favorite accomplishment?
At this point, graduating college. "Everyone" does it but it's something that I can look back upon and realize just how much I learned about myself, not to mention what I learned otherwise.
How do you define cool?
Cool is something that you just can't get out of your head. Find yourself looking it up days later, talking to your friends about it, buying/reading/using it ASAP? That's cool. Cool is different for everyone.
What is your secret to uncovering trends?
Trends are everywhere. I studied social behavior in college so I discover trends by seeing where and how people are reacting to what's going on in the world around them. The world is going through a huge innovation phase right now, trends are constantly changing and developing.
What do you enjoy most about Trend Hunter?
The ability to find the most random and awesome things going on across the world; things that I would never discover otherwise. It helps get my brain juices flowing and stimulate my own thoughts and ideas, continuing the cycle.
What is your favorite trend?
Right now? Can't choose one. I haven't logged nearly enough miles on the site to chose one yet since I still have yet to understand what the perfect trend is. I'll get back to you on that.
What are your tips for writing a juicy post?
Never exclude anything...absolutely everything can be posted and shared.
How do you reset to be creative?
Plug the headphones in, sit back, and GO! (mentally). Anything that allows me to zone out or think subconsciously, like reading or just browsing the internet also helps me out. I always have a sketch pad next to me for writing down ideas I think of.
What inspires or excites you?
The next big thing. That's it. What's going to get people saying "Holy shit, that's amazing...let me tell everyone!" I want to be the driving force behind something revolutionary. Oh yeah, and adrenaline rushes.
Predict something awesome for 2020?
2020, huh? Contrary to what people think it's going to be similar to today's world just with more electric cars, less dependency on other countries, and complete connectivity wherever you go. Imagine a world that caters to you. Doesn't help with the selfishness of everyone, but will certainly make them more involved with their world than just walking through it as a routine.
