With the aim to find the Ultimate Host, The Dixie Ultra Moments party contest was set up.
The contest was launched in the summer of 2014, announced with the help of David Tutera's CELEBrations. Entrants were asked to submit photos of their top hosting moments online for the chance to win cash prizes, a year's supply of Dixie Ultra Moments tableware, plus the chance to star in a webisode. After the submissions were in, the voting began and soon enough, Karen C. was named The Ultimate Host late in 2014. In order to show off her party planning skills, Karen set up a vibrant superhero-themed party spread complete with decorations and food items, proving that pulling together a special celebration that looks great doesn't have to break the bank.
