The 'Jumbo Fast Card' Knocks Mosquitos Out In Mere Minutes

Godrej Consumer Products, a consumer goods company based in the Indian city of Mumbai, launched a truly innovative mosquito repellent solution in the form of the 'Jumbo Fast Card,' which uses a novel paper card-based product in order to fight mosquitoes.

The 'Jumbo Fast Card' is essentially a paper card that is infused with the mosquito-fighting chemical transfluthrin, which is commonly used to battle mosquitoes, cockroaches and other insects in indoor environments. Users simply have to light up a card using a lighter or match stick, at which point they can expect mosquitoes to start dropping in a matter of minutes, with the effect said to last for up to four hours at a time. What's more, the product leaves behind a pleasant fragrance.

"Jumbo Fast Card is our latest innovation which is the result of our deep understanding of the category and know-how of what the country currently needs," said Sunil Kataria, former CEO of Godrej Consumer Products. "This revolutionary paper-based format will give people dual benefit of instant action and its effect will last up to four hours."
