With COVID-19 causing an increase in demand for food delivery, the popular quick service chain Panda Express has rolled out its very own Panda Express delivery service.
Previously, Panda Express has been available for delivery through third-party apps, such as Uber Eats and Postmates. However, these apps charge hefty fees on each order, in addition to delivery fees for the customer. As a result, Panda Express has decided to bring delivery in-house and create its own Panda Express delivery service. With the new service, customers will be charged a flat delivery fee of $4.99. And though there's no additional service fee, a tip of 15% is automatically added to each order to compensate delivery drivers.
To celebrate the launch of its new in-house delivery service, Panda Express will be offering free delivery June 18 through July 1 on orders over $10.
