Ordinarily, IHOP—the pancake house restaurant chain—would be left out of celebrations for National Pizza Day but this year it is participating in the holiday with its 'Pancizza,' pronounced "Pan-keet-za."
The pizza-inspired pancake is available in Original Buttermilk, savory Bacon and Cheddar and sweet Cupcake flavors, which are authentically served in pizza-style boxes.
In partnership with IHOP, DoorDash will be delivering the pizza-pancake hybrids from select restaurants in certain cities. On February 9th for National Pizza Day, IHOP will be taking over New York City's Bleecker Street Pizza to create the world's first-ever and only Pancizzeria Shop, complete with on-site-only exclusive flavors. A special Pancizza t-shirt will also be available for a limited time as part of IHOP's National Pizza Day celebrations.
