African Wood Bear Collectibles

This 'Bearbrick' Model from Medicom Toy Uses Padauk Wood

Medicom Toy, a collectible goods manufacturer that's based in Japan, recently unveiled a new Bearbrick model that's made from African Padauk wood.

In order to draw more attention to its unique use of material, the brand leaves the face of the model completely blank. The rest of the bear's chubby silhouette doesn't feature any markings either, apart from the natural variations of the Padauk wood. With this natural material coloring the collectible a rich hue of amber, the new Bearbrick functions perfectly as an unconventional home accent.

Those wishing to get their hands on one will need to get to Medicom Stores quickly however, as only a limited number will be available starting on January 21st.
