Cyclist safety is a major concern for everyone on the road and the Orp Smart Horn helps combine a powerful light with a loud horn to make cyclists on the road a little safer. The design is based on the 'here and hear' concept that utilizes both audio and visual communication to make those near cyclists aware of their presence.
The Orp is recharged via USB, totes a waterproof design and is easily strapped on, and off of handlebars. The embedded horn is able to belt out an alarm up to 96 decibels in frequency to make sure that everyone within a short distance are well aware of the nearby cyclist. Designer Toren Orzeck came up with the simplistic concept in his hometown of Portland, Oregon because of the high population of cyclists in the community.
