Sustainable Furniture Retailer Coffees

The IKEA Påtår Organic Coffee Supports Small-Scale Farmers

The new IKEA Påtår organic coffee range aims to help the furniture and lifestyle retailer focus more on the holistic lifecycle of a product rather than just a single aspect.

The new IKEA Påtår lineup will consist of five coffee products that will be available from the food market that's located in the various retailer's locations. The IKEA Påtår coffee products are UTZ-certified, which means they meet the stringent standards for sustainability setup by the company.

The various organic coffees within the IKEA Påtår range focus on supporting small-scale coffee bean farmers from regions including Central and South America.

Speaking on the new coffee range, Health and Sustainability Manager for IKEA Food Services, Jacqueline Macalister, said, "At IKEA, we decided to go ‘all in’ for sustainable coffee and, building on the UTZ certification, develop a coffee range that follows the EU organic certification standards as well. I’m really happy we can now offer our customers this combination of UTZ and organic throughout our coffee range."
