Supernatural Animalistic Ads

The Optus 'It's Possible' Commercial is Imagination on High

The Optus 'It’s Possible' campaign proves the only limit to staying in touch with your loved ones is your imagination. The promotion works to highlight the ways Optus and its communication services go above and beyond to enhance global communication. The daring production follows the journey of a young woman traveling across a dream world in search of her lover.

Although the ad was filmed in the city of Shanghai and the historic backdrop of Canowindra, Australia, the illusionary effects are out of this world. The main character wakes up unaware of where they are as they begin to bolt across the city (uh, The Hangover anyone?).

The commercial was developed by M&C Saatchi and while there are no whale summoning songs this time around, there are still fantastical animal manifestations in this campaign. Although it is uncertain what the rhino is all about, the strangely impossible additions are what make the Optus It’s Possible commercial breathtaking.
