Marion Stora presents her first-ever furniture collection dubbed Opening Acts. Stora is known for her distinct and warm style, bringing a vibrant sense of life to spaces using hand-woven fabrics, wood, and raw hides. The furniture collection follows the same notion as Stora crates furniture built on her experience forming made-to-measure furniture for private events.
Now, the capsule is comprised of 15 refined pieces that are made with the help of craftspeople. The aesthetic is defined by warm tones and blends modern design backed by traditional skill. It kicks off with the LA MONA dining table, which rests on a sculptural base using Albizia wood. This is made with the help of muro Mori and has a material coating done by artist Pierre Bonnefille -- this uses mineral powder, metallic powder, and natural pigments.
