The 'Oneware' series is a set of cooking implements that make kitchen tasks easier for amputees, injured people, people with disabilities and anyone who only has the ability to use one hand when cooking. While able-bodied people probably take something as regular as cooking for granted, the loss of a hand can remove that both joyous and pragmatic experience from people's lives. Oneware endeavors to bring cooking to everyone with its elegant and versatile designs.
There are two pieces of Oneware: the cutting board and the dish washer. The cutting board is a board like the standard cooking implement, but it comes with an upright blade along one of the corners. Consumers can use this blade to anchor food that they need to cut, using their able hand to drive the food into the blade, then grab a knife and cut the food. The dish-washing implement is a rubber mat with suction cups that holds dishes in place, allowing them to be scrubbed without shifting around.
