The one-inch coffee maker is made from sterling silver and is comprised of five parts: a heater, two filters, the coffee pot and a gasket. The pot is made entirely from sterling silver and is barely bigger than an actual coffee bean. The mini coffee maker was made over the course of a few months and was an obvious labor of love.
The one-inch coffee maker has a max capacity of 10 drops of water and can brew a cup of coffee as big as a teardrop. Marmo's coffeepot is an awesome piece of self-promotion that is sure to drive business his way. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that some novelty shop is inspired by this creation and builds its own mini coffee pot. It'd be a great gag gift for the caffeine addicted.
