The Pure Leaf 'Once Upon A No' ad is the latest commercial from the brand that aims to help consumers say no more often instead of constantly feeling expected to take on more responsibilities or do things they don't want to. The commercial stars Amy Poehler who reads the classic Princess and the Pea story, but changes the fairytale to have the princess refuse to sleep on the bed with the pea hidden within. Directed by Rashida Jones, the commercial is part of the brand's No Is Beautiful campaign to help showcase how it says no to artificial flavors, concentrates and tea powders in its products.
Poehler spoke on the Pure Leaf 'Once Upon A No' ad saying, "There are times when I love the power of no, so of course I was happy to be part of this campaign when Pure Leaf shared it with me. The ‘Once Upon a No’ videos are a fun way to show how you can change the outcome of an entire story with just one word, and getting the chance to be directed by my beautiful wife Rashida Jones put it over the top for me. Ironically, when Pure Leaf approached us both, it was easy to say yes!"
