Architect Wilson Holloway and interior design studio 'Stella' transformed the ground floor and basement of the Grade II-listed Victorian building into Omar's Place -- a modern Mediterranean restaurant.
The team took the sun as an inspiration when designing the restaurant, using a bright color scheme and unique furniture. The light-washed and voluminous space features radial lines, cool terracotta walls, circular motifs and earthy rusted hues, creating a Mediterranean-themed space to match the menu. The chef wanted to create an immersive space in which to serve his grandmother's recipes which were re-imagined to be more experiential for patrons.
Omar's Place in London, UK is provides a new, one-of-a-kind dining experience, and has become an instant tourist attraction for both foodies and design lovers.
