Ryan Lochte Goes Fashionisto in GQ Magazine

It seems everyone wants to be in the fashion industry these days, even those who are mega successful in their fields. Earlier this year there was news that Kanye West would take a break from rapping and music in the spring to intern at the Louis Vuitton London headquarters and other fashion houses across Europe in a bid to build his fashion credentials. Now we have Olympic Gold medalist Ryan Lochte proclaiming his desire to go into fashion modeling.

The first taste of Ryan Lochte the model is in the new January 2009 issue of GQ Magazine where he stars in a fashion editorial that celebrates the classic American SoCal style.

Being an Olympic swimmer, Lochte certainly has the body for the modeling business. It would be interesting to see if he’ll be as successful in the fashion industry as he is in the water.
