Chicago's Navy Pier is already a major tourist destination, but now the area is even more buzz-worthy thanks to the opening of a massive rooftop bar called 'Offshore.' However, this isn't just any bar with a nice view, Offshore is actually the world's largest rooftop bar.
Offshore is a football field-sized rooftop bar that is able to hold 1,000 guests at a time. The bar has an indoor space, as well as an outdoor area with a fully retractable "barrel-vaulted roof and an operable glass enclosure" for the summer months. The bar is even ready for cold Chicago nights with seven fire pits on its 20,000-square-foot terrace. To top it all off, there's a stage for live performances and spaces for private events. At a total of 52,310.29 square feet, the new bar now officially holds the Guinness World Record title for 'largest rooftop bar.'
